Recently, many of my neighbours have been complaining about the increased number of stray animals in our neighbourhood.
What's worse is that people feed them and there are food all around the walkway. Many residents have found the leftover food left on the pathway disgusting and if the food are not cleared away, it will start to smell and it will be an issue for all the residents.
There's no way we can get rid of them completely, moreover these are animals we are talking about, they are living things too.
So what can we do?
The first thing we should do is to stop feeding the stray animals. The smell of food are what attracts the animals, and that is why more and more stray animals are appearing in our neighbourhood. If we don't feed them, or if we stop people from feeding them, not only will it lessen the number of stray animals, we can also prevent insects such as cockroaches and ants from feeding on the leftover food.
This way, we can prevent the breeding of more stray animals and also have a clean environment.
